STAFF NURSE (40 Vacancies)

• Candidates must have at least Prof’l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof’l License Exam)
• The job requires both Male and Female applicants.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience is required for this position
• Applicants must be 23 to 35 years old.

Job Description

• Provides and ensures that the minimum standards of care and performance of nursing procedures/tasks related to job position are delivered by all members of the unit nursing team.
• Performs a variety of supportive and technical nursing skills and utilizes a range of equipment, supplies, medication, and other modalities in carrying out specific medical orders from administration of medications, performance of specific treatments, monitoring techniques, and other diagnostic, therapeutic, and supportive measures.
• Initiates and performs a range of nursing measures based on patient needs related to physical and mental comfort, positioning and mobilization, nutrition and hydration, bowel and bladder elimination, care of skin and wounds, and support of respiration, hygiene, communication, and other physical and mental bodily functions                                                                                                                       
• Coordinates with the In-service and Quality Management Coordinator providing on-going review of practices and procedures and making recommendations. Provides clinical guidance, direction, and coordination of activities for junior nursing and auxiliary/ancillary personnel within the area and particularly for nursing care situations which are more complex and less common within the area.
• Provides a safe, therapeutic, personalized physical and psychosocial environment for patient care.
• In conjunction with the medical staff and Head Nurse plans and provides patient/family teaching during daily care relative to the understanding of the illness and treatments.
• Reports and documents significant information through established oral and written process. 

POSITION QUALIFICATION:

• Education:  Minimum job requirements

1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing in any accredited School of Nursing.
2. Maintain current valid licensure in nursing from country-of-hire and Saudi Council Health Specialties.

• Experience:

1. Two (2) years current experience in area of specialty.
2. Must have knowledge of current nursing theory and practice.
3. Experience in patient and staff teaching desirable.

• Expertise and Skills:

1. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
2. Current working knowledge of area to which assigned.
3. Good communication skills, foreign travel/work experience desirable.

• Equipment Operated:

1. Can operate all medical equipment in the clinics, units and in the area of responsibility.
2. Background in computer applications for nursing systems desirable for accurate data entry.
